Destiny's Last Stand: Grounded in Time is the fourth novel in The Destiny Theory series. Returning Destiny to Edmonton, it turns the consequences of the Hawaiian paradox into a pursuit across frozen moments, broken timelines, and the city where her war with the gods first became personal.

After Destiny's encounter with Pele and Māia, the world stops. Traffic freezes in intersections. Snow hangs motionless in the air. Clocks refuse to advance. Destiny alone can still move, and she soon learns why. By interfering with a micro-paradox and allowing incompatible timelines to touch, she has broken a law older than the gods who taught humanity to measure time. Chronos, keeper and judge of time, has come to remove the error by wiping Destiny from existence. With his sandglass already running, Destiny must race through fractured versions of Edmonton, recover pieces of a temporal puzzle, and use the ancient instincts of Artemis against an enemy who can reset every victory before it happens.
